How To Increase The Popularity Of Your Blog
Blogging is a new way of spreading ideas, offering services, etc. When you start to blog, you would like people to gain access to your blogs as fast as possible so that your blog will gain the maximum exposure you can get. There are a number of ways of doing this, but here are some of these ways.
Initially, you can make a list of the blogs that represents the niche you are going after. Once you are done with the list, make sure you have linked them to your blog roll. It would take you a short time to do this, but the results would be tremendous.
Every time people link a blog site to another blog site, there is an indicator. They are commonly known as trackbacks and pingbacks. Those who are into blogging could easily detect if they have been linked. Remember that by linking you create a bridge for surfers to reach your blog.
For some other bloggers, a better link would be to do a deep link on an article posted on another blog. Most bloggers appreciate getting linked by another blogger because their ranking goes higher. Thus, if you link a blog, you might end up getting rewarded, or at least a, “thank you.”
There are two more technique that are more direct in approach, but would provide more exposure; and thus, a higher chance of success. Both approaches entail contacting the other blogger.
This is like facing these people. You will certainly get noticed. Make sure when you approach initially, you ask for either for an interview or to offer to guest post on their blogs.
Just like any normal John Doe, getting interview and getting published online or any media gives a pat on the ego. In fact everybody likes it. This is a sure fire technique in getting the blogger to agree to your plan.
Writing an article to be posted on a popular blogger’s blog would give him some time off from work. On the other hand, this would give you the exposure you are seeking. Make sure you link your blog on his blog. By doing so, you have build a link with this blogger and the community he has.
